Alex Rosenbaum is a Principal Software Architect in Mellanox Technologies, based from Israel. Alex is leading the architect definitions for Mellanox DPDK and RDMA software subsystem in Kernel and User-Space and several application acceleration solutions. His focus is researching network bottlenecks and introducing acceleration technologies to virtual switching, DPDK and socket based frameworks, as well as Big Data and Machine Learning. Before that, Alex lead a development team responsible for few on Mellanox socket low latency acceleration, HDFS, Spark & Alluxio acceleration solutions based on cutting edge high-performance network devices.
Alex holds a BSc in Physics from the Tel-Aviv University of Israel.
